Shared petition link with Vasculitis UK and the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation

Asking for support from fellow Vasculitis sufferers

This morning before starting work at 7 am, I managed to add a post to the Facebook groups of the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation and Vasculitis UK to ask for support for my petition from their members. 

As the morning progressed, my first new "signature" arrived just after 8 am and by 7 pm I had received 15 additional names supporting my cause. This brings the total for the Google Forms petition record up to 117 names.

My petition also gives the participant, the opportunity to add any additional words of support and I was very pleased to see so many additional support messages added in.

I have noticed that the field used for the additional support messages is restricted in length and some of the messages were cut off. I am tempted to try to extend this but as there is a risk that the petition form may become corrupted if I change it now, it's best to keep it as it is.

Reviewing the Facebook posts

The link from the Vasculitis UK Facebook group is working well but comments have been turned off.
The post to the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation Facebook group is not there. I had a look to see if it had been put on hold or something but it doesn't appear to have been posted on the sight at all.

The problem may be down to both posts being prepared side by side in parallel, in two separate tabs, and Facebook may have become confused after one was sent. As I don't have any posts Pending, Declined or Removed, I will try again to post it on the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation Facebook group. Doing this will give a better indicator of the support coming from the members of the different groups.

Post failure

After a second attempt at posting my petition on the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation Facebook group, it still fails to appear. Not blocked, rejected or pending, just not there at all. Maybe there are restrictions on posts that have external links. I will re-post but without the external link and ask if the link can be added somehow.

Blood pressure is stopping everything now

 Last month, I had two appointments that had to be stopped because my blood pressure readings were too high to safely proceeded (230/120). The first of these appointments was at the start of the month and was for an endoscopy, which I wasn't too heartbroken about it being cancelled, but I did go to see my GP afterwards, to see what he could do to ensure the next one would go ahead. My GP wrote an email to a consultant he knew of in cardiology, who may be interested in my "interesting" case. He also doubled up my dose of Propranolol to 2 x 40mg / day. This only lasted for a couple of days as I started feeling very unwell, and couldn't keep out of the toilet, so back down to 2 x 20mg/day for me. The following week was my appointment with the respiratory lab, and once again the same thing happened.
